The difference between uv printer and inkjet printer

What is the difference between inkjet printer and uv printer? This question was recently asked by a client looking to develop in the advertising industry. For customers who are deeply involved in the advertising industry, the difference between the two is very familiar, but for customers who have not yet entered the industry, it is indeed difficult to understand, they are all machines for printing advertisements. Today, the blueprint editor takes you to understand the difference between uv printers and inkjet printers.

1. The printed material is different. The uv printer can print the materials of the inkjet printer, but the inkjet printer cannot print all the materials of the uv machine. For example, uv printers can print 3D three-dimensional reliefs, or plates, which inkjet printers can’t do, and can only print flat materials, such as inkjet cloth.

2. Different drying methods. The uv printer adopts led ultraviolet light curing technology, which can be dried immediately. The inkjet printer adopts the infrared drying method, which cannot be dried immediately, and needs to be placed for a while to dry.

3. Different clarity. The uv printer has higher precision and richer color of the printed picture.

4. Weather resistance is different. The uv printing pattern is more weather resistant, waterproof and sunscreen, and will not fade for at least five years outdoors. Inkjet prints begin to fade within about a year.
