Correct operation of UV flatbed printers when print special material

UV flatbed printer is the most mature type of UV printer, and also has the reputation of “universal printer”. However, even if it is a universal device in theory, in actual operation, when encountering some media with unusual materials and specifications, the operator of the UV flatbed printer should master the correct operation method to avoid irreversible physical damage to the UV printer. harm.

First, materials with poor surface flatness. When printing materials with large differences in surface flatness, the UV flatbed printer should strictly set the height measurement operation based on the highest point, otherwise the material will be scratched and the nozzle will be damaged.

Second, the thickness of the material is too large. When the thickness of the material is too large, the UV light will be reflected from the table to the nozzle, causing irreversible damage to the nozzle clogging. For this type of printing material, it is necessary to fill the empty area with a suitable non-reflective material to prevent the reflection of light from excessive parts and cause the nozzle of the UV flatbed printer to be blocked.

Third, the material with a lot of dander. Materials with a lot of dander will adhere to the nozzle bottom plate of the UV printer due to surface shedding, or scrape the surface of the nozzle. For such materials, it is necessary to remove media lint that may interfere with proper printing before printing. Such as light roasting on the surface of the material.
Fourth, materials that are prone to static electricity. For materials that are easy to cause static electricity, the materials can be treated with static elimination, or a static elimination device can be loaded on the equipment. Static electricity can easily lead to the phenomenon of ink flying in the UV printer, which affects the printing effect.
